Testing of surface hardness

RISE can test the hardness on surfaces of different materials and according to different standards.

Purpose

To know how easily you get marks in, for example, floors and countertops, they can be tested for hardness.

Method

Brinell testing takes place according to EN 1534 and Janka testing according to ASTM D143.
Materials and surface layers can, for example, be different types of floors such as laminate or parquet, but also wet room panels, countertops or other wood-based panels.
