Malin Rosqvist

Malin Rosqvist is program director for the strategic innovation program PiiA, Processindustrial IT and Automation. PiiA is one of 17 strategic innovation programs in Sweden, funded by Vinnova, Energimyndigheten and Formas.

Active projects are Trace4Value+SwePass - traceability for sustainable value chains, Digitala Stambanan, Unity4Water and the industrial graduate school RELIANT, Reliable, Safe and Secure Intelligent Autonomous Systems.

Previous to RISE, Malin had a position as senior project manager within Embedded Systems at Mälardalen University. At Mälardalen University, Malin was managing the PROMPT project which was awarded the European Digital Skills award 2016. PROMPT, Professional Master in Software Development, aimed at increasing cooperation between industry and academia, above all in terms of competence development by developing advanced level academic courses for industrial software developers. The PROMPT project was funded by the Swedish Knowledge Foundation with 50 MSEK, and by the participating companies and universities. Malin was also part of the management team for the Post Graduate School ITS-EASY (Embedded Software and Systems), involving 11 companies and 22 PhD students, later engaged in the preparation of the Post Graduate School Smart Industry, including five universities and several companies.

Malin has industrial experience from ABB, working globally with marketing and sales of industrial robots from a position as marketing manager. Malin holds a MA from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and is Certified Project Manager and accredited project excellence preparation (IPMA, International Project Management Association). Malin is board member of the IndTech Industrial Technology Graduate School, and IFT Automation, previously board member of the non-profit organisation Swedsoft.
