Over 25 years experience of industrial research.
Has worked with digitization and traceability for industrial and societal sustainability management of data since the early 1990s, first to develop strategic traceability of data for life cycle analysis and then to track materials and products using the STEP standards (general formats for handling data in digital drawing programs (CAD) and digital production systems (CAM), he is a formal link between the international standardization committees ISO / TC207 Environmental Management Systems and ISO / TC 184 Industrial Automation. Since 2020, Raul Carlsson has been leading an Interdisciplinary initiative within RISE with the aim of creating more interdisciplinary links between the experts who work with different parts of traceability and with stakeholders in business and society. A result of this work is the initiation of standardization Internet of materials, based on a result of a collaboration between RISE and SIS (Internet of materials standards).
