About the episode

In his work Donnie meets hundreds of young entrepreneurs and help them shape their business going forward. He has seen the change that is happening, that entrepreneurs nowadays understand that without a sustainable foundation in your business, you will not survive as a business long term. But he also see all the systemic challenges for these entrepreneurs, and shares his frustration in dealing with established companies that still think that sustainability is something that can be done as an add on to your existing unsustainable operations.

We will explore things like: How are companies that focus on sustainability faring in the competitive start-up landscape? Are businesses with smart, sustainable models thriving, and what challenges are they facing?

We'll also tackle some thought-provoking questions: Should we evaluate a wide array of business models and eliminate those that aren't sustainable, or should we start with inherently sustainable models? Is it an entrepreneur with a business mind and interest in sustainability or the sustainability person that wants to go into business that will succeed?

Let's explore the future of business together and discover what it takes to build a sustainable and successful start-up in today's world.
