Corrosion evaluation of sprinkler pipes
RISE offers a evaluation of a sprinkler system's pipe parts due to corrosion, for example as part of the 25-year check according to Appendix K in SS-EN 12845:2015+A1:2020 and section 20.6 in SBF 120:8. By checking the status of the sprinkler pipes, a lifetime estimate is carried out.
Syfte

Metod
The method is based on a number of pipe parts being provided by the customer. The general procedure for checking the status of the pipe parts is that the pipe parts are cut, cleaned of corrosion products, measured under a microscope and the average corrosion rate calculated. Together with the customer, it can be decided how extensive the analysis should be and whether supplementary investigations such as water analysis should be carried out.
