FIVE 2025 has the following confirmed Keynote Speakers

Carlo Mol, VITO/EnergyVille

Carlo Mol is Project Manager Energy Technology at VITO/EnergyVille since 2009. EnergyVille is an association of the Flemish research institutes KU Leuven, VITO, imec and UHasselt in the field of sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems. At VITO/EnergyVille, Carlo Mol is responsible for setting-up and coordinating research and demonstration projects mainly related to electric mobility, smart charging, microgrids and batteries. Since 2009 he is ExCo delegate for Belgium in the International Energy Agency on Hybrid Electric Vehicles, where he is also Task Manager of Task49 on “EV Fire Safety”.

Christina F. Francis, PE, FSFPE

Ms. Francis currently serves as Senior Staff Fire & Regulatory Specialist for Tesla, Inc. Her previous roles include Global Fire Protection Engineer for The Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G), loss control associate with Industrial Risk Insurers and design engineer with Bechtel. With almost 30 years in the fire protection industry her experience includes design, construction management, loss prevention, risk management and code consulting on a variety of industrial projects throughout the world.

Ms. Francis has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, is a registered professional engineer in Fire Protection and is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). She is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Industrial Fire Protection Section Board member (past chair), previous Board Member of Fire Protection Research Foundation, current Board member of the First Responder Institute and recently joined the NFPA Board of Directors.
