Contact Marie-LouiseAdditive manufacturing opens entirely new possibilities for the geometric design of components and products, making design and product development especially exciting as it enables thinking in completely new ways.
As a designer, it’s crucial to understand the additive manufacturing process to maximize its potential, whether you’re printing in-house or ordering ready-made parts. Advantages such as reduced weight, use of circular materials, and fewer components in a product solution can be achieved. This seminar provides a fundamental introduction on how to design, print, or order printed parts.
3D-Action 2.0 is led by RISE in collaboration with Chalmers University, Göteborgs Tekniska College, IDC West, IUC Väst, and IUC Sjuhärad, with support from the Västra Götaland Region and the European Union.
