First International Symposium on Solar Structures durability

Welcome to the first International Symposium on the Durability of Solar Structures! During this event, we will delve into key topics such as material selection, durability, cost effectiveness, energy and corrosion.

Solar energy production cost includes both capital and operational cost of all solar cells structures. Therefore, it is important to make a deliberate selection of materials. A crucial factor to consider is the durability of the material, especially for support structures exposed to both atmospheric and underground integrity issues.

During this symposium, we will explore the critical role of material selection in solar energy. You get to take part in the latest advances in corrosion-resistant material technology, listen to exciting presentations on the progress toward long-life and cost-effective solar energy production, and participate in open and interactive discussions. In addition, a unique opportunity is given to exchange knowledge with industry experts in solar energy.

The event targets professionals in the solar energy sector, including solar energy experts, material specialists, academic researchers, corrosion engineers, and consultants involved in solar projects.

The 1st International Symposium on Solar Structures Durability is organized by RISE, the Institut de la Corrosion (France), the University of Parma (Italy) and the European Federation of Corrosion, EFC.
