Ann-Christine’s research fields is thermochemical conversion, mainly pyrolysis and gasification, including upgrading of intermediates. Both renewable and waste materials are studied with the aim to produce sustainable chemicals, fuels och materials. The research projects include both fundamental experimental work in smaller lab and bench scale test facilities up to more industrialized work in pilot scale facilities, up to TRL 5. Ann-Christine leads the pyrolysis research at the unit Sustainable energy conversion and the role in the research projects is both as a project leader and as a researcher and the results have often been presented on international conferences and reported in peer reviewed journal papers.
