Carolina Pettersson

Carolina works as a researcher and project leader within materials technology in the group Heat Treatment and Surface Integrity. She has a Ph.D. in high temperature corrosion of high alloyed superheater materials.
She works for within SIP LIGHTer, as a project manager for LIGHTer Småföretag and the LIGHTer node in Västra Götaland.
She also works within the field of hand and arm vibrations and how to reduce injuries, in projects like Zero Vibration Injury and in the network Zero Vib Center.
A smaller part of her work concerns material analysis and characterization of mainly metals but also other materials. It is primarily scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with associated analysis methods (e.g. EDX/EDS) that is her specialty.
