Scientist, Project manager and Raman spectroscopy expert at advanced materials and binders unit . I have more than 15 years of experience in material development and advanced material characterization (Raman and IR spectroscopy, AFM methods, SEM, QCM-D). My current research and business related activities are focused on development and application of bio-based and sustainable solutions for LiB and SiB batteries (binders and active materials including hard carbon) and energy harvesting (utilizing piezoelectric and triboelectric effects). I have a well-established publication record with more than 56 research papers in peer-review journals (including high impact factor journals such as Nature Communication, Advanced Functional Materials, NanoEnergy, Nature Astronomy, Corrosion Science, etc). I am also responsible for RISE confocal Raman spectroscopy lab in Stockholm. Currently i am leading several research funded projects on utilization of bio-based materials, such as nanocellulose, starch and others as binders for Lithium-ion Batteries and valorization of different biomass as a precursor for hard carbon synthesis (used in Sodium-ion batteries). In my research portfolio i am focusing on improved material and product sustainability as well as possibilities to contribute to digitalization applications (energy harvesting and sensors). Additional, i have good expertise on application and advanced characterization of nanomaterials such as (graphene, rGO, CNC, CNF, CNT).
