Markus is a senior researcher at RISE Mobility and System. His research explores how concepts like Product-As-A-Service and Product Longevity and technologies such as Connectivity (IoT/IIoT) and Additive Manufacturing, will transform the nature of the supply chain, logistics and the industrial value chain.

Markus has a solid industrial background where he has been developing connected business (IoT+IIoT) for more than 15 years with companies such as Scania, Sandvik and Alfa Laval

Today Markus is besides his research also acting as a speaker and innovation coach to companies/organizations exploring the possibilities of connectivity, logistics, additive manufacturing and digital transformation.
