Contact SusanneHow do we work with AI policies? The Centre for Applied AI pushes the development and dialogue on AI policies.
At a time when more and more people are talking about the need to regulate AI, it is easy to think of the EU's AI regulation or the initiatives in the US and other countries around prohibited systems and respect for our democratic processes. But policy can be so much more, such as the strategies that shape our research into language models, product safety, or international standards that provide guidelines on risk management and prescribe how to ensure data quality. In short, policies try to direct someone to behave in a certain way. And this can be done by law but also by other means.
The goal is to contribute to the development and coordination of laws and regulations for AI in Sweden and the EU, as well as to the interpretation and understanding of laws and regulations.

The AI Agenda is a unique network both in Sweden and internationally that brings together experts from all parts of society who work in some way with AI issues. Through our work, we want to increase the understanding of the benefits of AI technology in a way making it accessible to everyone.
