Simulator for SEEL test cells
SEEL Powertrain testing offers a complete laboratory that meets the needs of testing and developing electric powertrains for all kinds of vehicles on land, sea and in the air.
The customer receives the data and resources needed to fulfil targets for test activities. To meet the need, everything is provided from tailored services to equipment and personnel that are at the customer's disposal.
SEEL has state-of-the-art test equipment including large comfortable control rooms that allow creative meetings. The customer's needs are in focus and SEEL engages in developing operations and equipment to meet the customer's needs.
The test equipment that SEEL currently offers is as follows.
Two high-performance and identical test cells for testing electric machines intended for light and heavy vehicles. The equipment can be combined with climate chambers that generate heat or cold.
Two high-performance and identical test cells for testing electric axles intended for light vehicles. The equipment can be combined with climate chambers that generate heat or cold.
One high-power test cell with double control systems for testing electric axles intended for heavy-duty vehicles. The equipment can simultaneously manage two separate tests of electric machines.
In a special room that fulfils ISO 3745 “Acoustics — Determination of sound power levels and sound energy levels of noise sources using sound pressure — Precision methods for anechoic rooms and hemi-anechoic rooms”, electric axles with high dynamics can be tested. Due to its well-proportioned size, the room enables testing of component sounds on complete vehicles or sound effect measurement on detached components and systems.
Cars and other light vehicles can be tested using the high-performance test cell intended for testing complete vehicles. For the best possible dynamics, the vehicle's hubs are mounted on the test equipment. SEEL will in the near future offer power certification tests for light vehicles.
Buses, trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles can be tested using the high-performance test cell intended for testing of complete vehicles. The vehicle's hubs are mounted on the test equipment for the best possible dynamics. The test cell also offers wind speed, heating and cooling.
An efficient solution to reduce costs and lead times is to use SEEL's test simulator to develop test software code and simulate tests before the test object is mounted in test cells.
