Maria Schnurr is expert in sustainable mobility and urban development. As a senior researcher she focuses on mobility services, transport technology’s impact on sustainability and urban development, and policy innovation in the transport sector. Maria is also the leader of the focus area "Urban Mobility" at RISE.
Before joining RISE in February 2017, she worked in the automotive industry and in strategic foresight consulting in Germany, carrying out prospective studies for several industries and the public sector. Already ten years ago, she investigated opportunities for car manufacturers to enter the mobility services business for a dissertation project (PhD in organizational sociology).
