Network for workplace-related R&D for sustainable working life

Network for workplace-related R&D for sustainable working life promotes competitiveness, quality and innovation through good working conditions in companies and organizations and promotes research that leads to tangible benefits.

The workplace-related R&D for sustainable working life, in Swedish Arbetsplatsnära FoU för hållbart arbetsliv, AFoU, wants to contribute to competitiveness, quality and innovation through good working conditions in organizations and companies.

Workplace-related research based on concrete needs

Work and working life are changing faster and faster - we need to build knowledge for sustainable working life and sustainable development. Through research that takes place in the workplace and in close collaboration, we together can build and practice new knowledge to understand events, process threats and seize new opportunities - all for the development of future jobs and workplaces.

An open and growing network

Workplace-related R&D is an open growing network where collaboration takes place between different industries, companies, public organizations, the social partners and researchers. Together, we build knowledge of how good work environment, quality, efficiency and competitiveness are interconnected and can be strengthened.

We want to share experiences, utilize knowledge from various R&D projects, and start new collaborative activities and projects around important issues for business and public organizations.

The network AFoU's reference group is composed of the main social partners – Svenskt Näringsliv, LO, Saco, TCO, SKR, OFR, PTK and Arbetsmarknadsverket – and highlights the development needs that the network drives.
