SIP LIGHTer
SIP LIGHTer is a Strategic Innovation Program.
Swedish industry has highlighted lightweight technology as a key competence to strengthen competitiveness and meet global sustainability goals. Within the Strategic Innovation Program (SIP) LIGHTer organisations collaborate cross-industry to develop technologies, testing environments and people.
Here, companies, research institutes, academies, trade associations, municipalities, regions and authorities cooperate. Together, we create a national structure that streamlines technology development and develops people with multidisciplinary ability to create lightweight designs and low weight products.
SIP LIGHTer has funded about one hundred technical research projects. More information about the Projects you can find here.
Lightweight Membership Programme was responsible for over 100 organisations writing the Lightweight Agenda in 2013. The Agenda was the basis for creating SIP LIGHTer.
