Contact BörjeWindows are tested at RISE in a number of different ways.
Here at RISE we investigate how windows perform when subjected to different climate variables in the form of rain, wind and cold.
Testing is carried out to partly to investigate how new construction types (and methods) work and partly as quality assurance with respect to the manufacturer’s product range. Testing is conducted in a very thorough and careful manner.
The tests are carried out partly to examine how new designs work and also as quality control of manufacturers for their products.
The following tests determinations can be offered (and the list is not exhaustive, we can consider all related testing in the windows scope):
Air permeability according to EN1026
Watertightness according to EN 1027
Resistance to wind load according to EN12211
Operating forces according to EN12046-1
U-value according to EN-ISO 12567–1 or calculation according to EN 10077-2
Condensation test according to RISE methods 0736/5354
Moisture and temperature stability according to RISE method 258
The customer receives a test report on completion of the investigation which shows how the window has compared with the class requirements laid down in the relevant classification standards connected to the testing standards
The report includes explanations of the results achieved (often using photographs) by diagrams, tables and descriptions, plus a classification summary. Drawings and detailed descriptions of the window supplied by the customer are included in the report appendix.
