Dynamic pressure testing

The laboratory contains a so called shock tube, which is designed to generate extremely fast pressure pulses. The laboratory also includes a data acquisition system, analysis programs, additional sensors, signal converters and other secondary systems needed.

Characteristics:

• Pulse rise time of about 5 ns
• Filling pressure of maximum 1.6 MPa
• Maximum sampling rate 100 MS/s/channel
• Resolution 14 bits (100 MS/s) or 24 bits (208 kS/s)

There are possibilities to evaluate step response and static properties in order to determine the dynamic characteristics of the sensor or measurement system, including resonance frequency
