Pilot park for Industrial Biotechnology
One of few open facilities for industrial biotechnology in the Nordic countries.
The facility is used for conversion of lignocellulosic material and industrial residual streams into green chemicals, fuels, proteins and materials.
The facility includes :
- Thermochemical pretreatment reactor (40 liter)
- Bioreactor 50 liter
- Bioreactor 600 liter
- Feed and collection tanks (2 x 500 liter)
- CIP-system
- Filter press
- Decanter centrifuge
- Centrifuge
The pilot park enables up-scaling of various biochemical processes and production of significant amounts of materials for further application testing.
