Testbed for evaluation of construction timber and glulam
A nationally unique testbed with environments that makes it possible to test and evaluate a variety of properties such as strength and rigidity, glue resistance, through delamination and shear samples for the development and certification of the products.
The test bed consists of facilities for testing and evaluating construction work, glued-wood and similar glued products. Among other things, it includes:
- Testing machine Instron Satec, 300 kN, Borås
- Testing machine MFL LZPS 300, 3000 kN, Borås
- Testing machine Instron 5500, 100 kN, Skellefteå
- Various other measuring equipment
