Mehran Naseri Rad

With a background in Civil and Environmental Engineering, I entered the limitless world of Sustainability Assessment (SA) during my Ph.D. at Lund University. There, I developed models and methods for participatory decision-making problems (i.e., INSIDE) and dynamic SA (i.e., DynSus). Then I joined RISE in the early summer 2022 and found it a great place to develop my SA ideas further. At RISE, I am involved in different research and industry-oriented projects, where I assess environmental impacts and sustainability of different products and systems. Life cycle assessment (LCA), multi-criteria decision analysis (MCA), and system analysis are among the most occurring methods that I work on, while system dynamics (SD) simulations, statistical modeling, and data management come to help sometimes as well. I do a lot of climate impact calculations for industry as well. Science Based Targets (SBT) and Green House Gas protocol are among the basic standard that I use most for this. The mission is clear, anyways. We must make a change for saving our planet for our children and the comming generations.
