Marshall joins RISE Circular Business Lab!

Marshall designs, develops and sells speakers, headphones and amplifiers for a global audience. The group has a 60-year heritage in the amplifier business, which, for the past 20 years, is complemented with the headphones and speakers, designed in Stockholm. This builds the foundation in Marshall’s ambitious sustainability strategy; products should be Built to last.
To increase the knowledge in durable design, more sustainable materials and circular business models, Marshall joined Circular Business Lab during 2024. By doing so, Marshall hopes to broaden the network with like-minded companies in the electronics industry, increase knowledge in sustainable product design as well as circular business models. Marshall has designed for sustainable products over some time, and successfully changed to recycled plastic and more harmless materials – still mindful about the many challenges in this industry, and then collaboration is key. The meetings within the lab and the webinars in specific areas inspire and open new doors.
“When I heard the in-depth knowledge in recycling rare earth mineral components, and the challenges and technical solutions in the field, I decided we must join this network. It was at the front of global research, still so close to us, and what I had been looking for, for a long time”, says Anna Forsgren, Product Compliance and Sustainability manager at Marshall Group.
Marshall believes the Circular Business Lab will contribute to their circular journey by the combination of the experts in specific fields which are key in the circular transition, combined with learning and sharing with others in the industry about best practices. The journey has just started, with hope for more insightful sessions to come.
