Project objective and goal large scale research infrastructures
The initiative aims to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of the Swedish industry by making neutron- and photon-based technologies available in large-scale research infrastructure.
RISE has taken a leading role in regional, national and international initiatives and projects and contributes significantly to the fact that, MAX IV, ESS, P21.2 at Petra III and other research infrastructures of Swedish interest, have been developed so that the technologies better match the needs of Swedish industry-related research and are better known and more easily accessible.
A technology expert group has been established at RISE. The expert group, through its proximity to the facilities and its strategic location within the organization, can design, conduct and analyze experiments and support researchers, projects and industrial customers with their experience and specialist expertise.
