RISE Processum continues to grow!

During January, Processum was strengthened with three new recruitments. Zozan Tunc, civil engineer in Chemical Science, Verónica Benavente, PhD in Chemical Engineering and Zubaida Gulshan, PhD in Biotechnology. Zozan and Verónica will work in the chemistry group and Zubaida will work in the biotechnology group.

What are you most looking forward to working with Processum?

- I look forward to taking on new challenges and gaining a greater insight into how the industry collaborates towards more sustainable solutions. I also look forward to getting to know and work with my new colleagues at Processum, says Zozan.

- I agree with Zozan, I also think it will be rewarding to provide input on how Processum can use enzymes in biorefinery processes says Zubaida. 

Verónica agrees with her two new colleagues and adds that she looks forward to developing the biorefinery area and being able to contribute her knowledge to Processum's work.

How do you like to spend your time when you are not at work?

- I really appreciate walking by the water. When I visit at home in Spain, it is a favorite pastime, preferably with a good audiobook in my ears, Verónica answers.

Both Zozan and Zubaida enjoy spending time with their families. Zozan who lives with her husband in Örnsköldsvik and Zubaida who recently moved to Umeå with her daughter and husband. Zozan adds that she likes to spend time outdoors in nature and get to know her new hometown.
