Hydrogen for heavy transport
Does your company want to switch to hydrogen as a fuel for your transport? This course provides basic knowledge about the possibilities of hydrogen for future heavy transport. The target group is decision makers, technical managers, engineers, developers, entrepreneurs.
The course begins with a review of the role of hydrogen in the transition to a fossil-free society. We then delve into hydrogen for heavy transport. The course covers everything from systems and components to refuelling, safety, environmental requirements and regulations. During the course, there will be plenty of time to ask questions and discuss individual and common challenges.
Target group
Decision-makers and technical managers in companies and public authorities. Engineers, developers, entrepreneurs.

- General introduction and history
Overview of the world around us:
- Where is the development of hydrogen vehicles today?
Vehicle types and manufacturers:
- What products are available today and what are the launch plans?
Hydrogen in vehicles:
- We will review systems and components and identify differences and similarities with other powertrains and systems. How do the systems differ in terms of service, maintenance and repairs?
Refuelling and refuelling stations:
- A review of refuelling and technology: timing, availability and distribution.
Safety:
- We discuss safety in and around vehicles: measures, risks and risk management.
Freight transport with hydrogen vehicles:
- What does the future look like in terms of requirements and developments and how might heavy transport be affected?
