Contact RickardDo you need support in estimating costs for inefficient use of resources? And then strategically develop resource efficiency within your organisation? RISE can support you in the use of ISO 14051, ISO 14052, ISO 14053 for achieving your goals, using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous improvements!
At RISE we are eager to help you develop your business by determining the value of increased efficiency in the use of resources. We can assist in this by helping you calculate costs caused by inefficient processes and systems. We help you implement standardised tools based on ISO 14051, ISO 14052 and ISO 14053 focusing on cost accounting of material and energy flows in your system.
These standardised methods have been used for a number of years by a multitude of companies in e.g. Germany and Japan. And there are a lot of examples of where profitable solutions for increased resource efficiency have been developed, both for SMEs and larger business and systems. The methods are a part of the environmental management portfolio of standardized tools (ISO 14001-series). Hence we work according to the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous improvements.
An understanding of the true costs for production of waste streams and emissions can be developed using the methods, therefore then can both be used to create benefit for industrial symbiosis networks (i.e. integration of waste streams in other processes) and for internal resource efficiency.
At RISE we both use a commercial software and an in-house Open Source tool for developing and implementing the standards. We use these softwares for development of solutions for your specific context! We can also integrate the softwares with other digital tools, and existing information systems at specific partners organisations.
We also work with research and development by looking at integration of the methods in the ISO 14050-series for new applications. Examples are in connection with LCC-assessments, or integrated with Process Integration Methods, LCA, Social Network Analysis and System Dynamics.
Are you curious about collaborating with us at RISE on solutions for efficient use of resources in your organisation? Are you interested in how you can build tools and methods for calculating costs and values of implementing different measures for long term sustainable solutions? Then we would love it if you contacted us for an initial discussion!
