RISE can take on the role of cyber security assessor as identified in the ISO/SAE 21434 standard. RISE work is based on SWEDAC accredited methods and our independence allows us to act in this role up to the cases where the standards fully require an independent organization to be responsible for cybersecurity assessments.
It can often be difficult to find a person in your own organization who is both sufficiently well versed in the requirements of cybersecurity standards and who has not been involved in the development of a new product to be able to act in the independent role of cybersecurity assessor. In addition, it is a quality measure to be able to demonstrate to its customers that an independent organization has been responsible for the cybersecurity assessment.
RISE cybersecurity assessment is based on our SWEDAC accredited method for ISO/SAE 21434 with the relation to the regulatory requirements (UNECE R155/R156) taken into account.
The test against the standard is advantageously complemented by a penetration test that RISE can offer as a separate service. Here you find our offer in penetration testing.
After completing the cybersecurity assessment, the results are compiled in a RISE report. We can also offer to issue a certificate that briefly (1-2 pages) describes the security requirements that the product meets.
