Leak Test

The laboratory at RISE Packaging Excellence Centre is certified by ISTA and is one of the most well equipped and advanced laboratories in all of Scandinavia for testing packaging. We carry out tests according to international standards, to ensure the performance of the packaging.

Purpose

Leakage tests are performed to ensure that the packaging, including closures and caps, are intact or to detect possible leaks.

Method

Depending on the choice of standard, leakage tests are performed in different ways, e.g. in water, in vacuum, by color detection.
