Packaging transport and environmental durability

This testbed undertakes a wide range of tests and evaluations of packaging properties and examines how durable packaging remains during transport. Tests are carried out on both the packaging itself and the products being protected by the packaging. 

Environmental durability testing:

• Ensures the environmental durability of your product
• A product must function in its intended environment and withstand transport – be it base stations that have to able to withstand earthquakes, aerials in coastal areas exposed to moisture, salt and cold, or transportable measuring instruments that have to withstand shaky environments in vehicles and impacts.

Packaging transport tests:

• Does the packaging protect your product?
• All produced goods also need to be packaged and transported around the world in various ways. We carry out transport tests to ensure that the packaging protects the product against the stresses to which it will be subjected throughout the transport chain. This means, for example, different climates, falls and impacts, storage for shorter and longer periods, and vibrations during transport.
