Contact LinneaThere is great potential to use micro-credentials to describe competence and strengthen individuals and organizations through digital certificates for competence. For an organization, this is a powerful tool to make existing competence visible and thus work with strategic competence supply.
RISE, in collaboration with authorities, employers, employers' organizations and educators, has worked exploratively with micro-credentials as a tool to describe competence in small components. The work shows great potential in describing smaller parts of competence that are clearly defined and measurable.
RISE can help organizations in the process of designing micro-credentials based on learning outcomes. In the process, we also work to develop methods to assess achieved learning outcomes and we can provide a tool to issue and manage micro-merit that strengthens individual and organization. The result we want to achieve together with participating organizations is to contribute to your strategy development, learning and the first part of the development around micro-credentials and their place in lifelong learning, and that developed knowledge benefits more businesses.
