Application Center for Additive Manufacturing
The Application Center for Additive Manufacturing is a co-creation area where industrial partners, research institutes, and academia collaborate to push the boundaries of additive manufacturing.
Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, unlocks immense possibilities for manufacturing components in entirely new ways, with a very high level of freedom. However, to fully embrace the technology you need a to adopt a different mindset, acquire new skills, set viable goals and, above all, be persistent.
To democratize additive manufacturing and make it accessible to businesses of all sizes, RISE has established the Application Center for Additive Manufacturing. An independent platform aiming to promote the adoption of the technology across Sweden, thus contributing to a sustainable transition and resilient value chains.
The Application Center for Additive Manufacturing is open to all industries, businesses and public sectors interested in exploring additive manufacturing. Along with our expertise, we supply access to numerous additive manufacturing technologies and materials to determine the most suitable path for each company and product. In other words, you can test before you invest. We also provide guidance on creating sustainable business models for additive manufacturing.
In line with our culture, we value openness and knowledge-sharing. Being a partner in the centre provides a great opportunity to learn from fellow partners how to reduce your carbon footprint and strengthen your competitiveness by sustainable manufacturing.
