AM Center's Partner Conference, 2023

On May 10-11, 2023, the Application Center for Additive Manufacturing arranged an internal conference for all its partner companies. The event took place at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.

Being the first conference of its kind, it was a unique opportunity for everyone to meet in person. During two intense yet memorable days, experiences from different fields were exchanged, case studies shared, synergies found, and connections made. In short, mission accomplished!

AB Volvo (specifically Volvo GTO) emerged victorious in a challenging conference quiz, earning them the prestigious AM Center Cup: a 3D printed impeller, created using the Directed Energy Deposition technology.

The Partner Conference will return every two years, the next one is planned for 2025.
