Exciting exchange during Expo 2020!

Processum participated during the days arranged by Region Västerbotten. The purpose of these days was to strengthen the region's innovation and competitiveness and contribute to regional development. The goal was to open up for new collaborations, attract new investments and create increased growth and export opportunities.

The event was held in the Swedish pavilion called "The forest". One of the focus areas in the pavilion was Bio Circular Economy, a subject that is not entirely foreign to Processum.

- We have a goal in our innovation platform for biorefinery commercialization and that is to create international innovation collaborations. Participating on stage in the Swedish pavilion and meeting international innovation actors is a step in the right direction, says Johan Börjesson, Group Manager for Innovation Systems at Processum.

The theme of the day was "Co-creation for Innovation" where partnership and collaboration were in focus. Processum had several exciting meetings booked with, for example, Dubai Science Park, Masdar City and Tetra Pak.

- It is incredibly fun that the companies are so happy with the activities and the meetings and contacts they had during the trip.
