A centre meeting to remember!

With signs of spring in the air, in April NextBioForm participants met in Lund to present and listen in on the research carried out over the last six months within the centre.
The focus was on research from our PhD students and the recently started projects. We heard everything from topical formulation of sponge phase for the protection of a protease to new alternative methods instead of freeze drying. Each presentation was followed by lively discussions on results and future plans. We also had time for a quick visit to Lund University and got to be there when Johanna Hjalte nailed her thesis!
In the afternoon, a lively group headed to Kulturen in Lund, where we were given a guided tour and competed to find the five errors that have crept into the historical narratives. The evening was rounded off at Talevski, where we sampled everything from gnocchi and asparagus to pizzas.
The last day of the Centre meeting ended with a workshop together with the AdBioPro Competence Centre, where the possibilities and difficulties of continuous formulation were discussed.
