Greetings from the Centre Director October 2024

Autumn is here, and we are now in the final months of NextBioForm. The research projects are approaching their end and we can see the full picture of the results.
We have a PhD dissertation coming up in November when Zandra Gidlöf will defend her thesis. Two new projects were started this year, and the project on solid state NMR investigations of solid protein formulations is highlighted in this newsletter. We also welcome Nicolaas Schipper as new member in the NextBioForm Board.
We will have our final centre meeting in November, visiting Ferring Pharmaceuticals for one day to share the latest research in the centre. An open seminar day is arranged on November 21st in Lund with a focus on how large scale research infrastructures and advanced methods an be used in formulation of biologics.
Our research will continue beyond the final meeting and stretch into 2025 when two NextBioForm PhDs will defend their theses.
