Future protein supply with Mistra Food Futures and Formas

All five research centres are working on the issue from their own perspectives, and during the day they discussed bottlenecks and opportunities, as well as experiences of working on sustainability issues and food system transition. Draft white papers, position papers and new applications were produced and will be taken forward during the year, with researchers from the different centres working together. 

"This workshop showed that we are all struggling with similar challenges, and we see that we need to come together in Sweden, and perhaps also in the Nordic countries, for example through a joint conference," says Evelina Höglund, FINEST.
