The content was to Capture market forecasts and deep dive with regional leaders and experts to discover how the Nordics are leading the way in reducing carbon emissions.
The message from the panel was that greening the TMT sector is to locate datacenter in the Nordics. Many examples of different sustainability projects were described by the panelists from use of site features, fuel cells, circular economy, heat re-use to improve total cost of ownership, energy efficiency and scope 3 emissions.
Renewables, low price, land, talent, fibre connectivity and stability is available. AI, Cloud and HPC would fit perfect for Nordic operations. Edge computing will enable a move of non-latency dependent work load to the Nordics. With build out of 5G now and 6G beyond 2030 will enable this further.
