The EUH2020 project BTDC had its final presentation for the commission

Our DCD award winning project, BodenTypeDC raised the attention of European policymakers. As part of an online presentation of our project results „in Brussels” we proposed to implement a new EU standards for IT equipment sold in Europe. Air flow data shall be made available in a readable form from the servers and all servers should have a low temperature BIOS configuration option.
The project has shown how to build a smaller scale data center 500 kW size with hyperscale technologies and performance. The PUE is record low. The energy efficiency is record high. The project has shown it is possible to implement the solution all over Europe. The basis is what we call holistic cooling and the contributions from all partners have made it possible.
